Jeremiah Salvador

In 2022, Jeremiah joined Workshop NYC looking for a job and to learn martial arts. However what began as a hobby soon turned into a passionate pursuit of all things Muay Thai related.

Initially he had no intentions of coaching nor competing but after attending a smoker(which is a sanctioned unofficial fight) he thought to himself, “I can do that.” Jeremiah found himself diving head first into the art of Muay Thai, eager to overcome his fears and explore how far he could go in the sport.

With the guidance of Gianna and Jin, the challenges that Muay Thai presents have pushed Jeremiah in ways he never anticipated—mentally, physically, emotionally, and even spiritually. Amongst the various activities he has partaken in, martial arts stands out as the most humbling, with it teaching him invaluable lessons in discipline and resilience.

As an instructor, Jeremiah aims to inspire the Workshop students to improve their Muay Thai and hopefully have that growth translate outside of the mats as well. He believes that every individual has the capacity to grow and improve, and he aims to create an environment where the students feel empowered to challenge themselves and embrace their journey in and outside of martial arts.
