Jesse Eng

Jesse’s martial arts journey began in Shotokan Karate and Aikido before he discovered his true passion for Jiu-Jitsu. He views the sport as the ultimate "physical chess," offering a rare blend of intellectual strategy and physical challenge.

At Workshop NYC, Jesse was drawn to the philosophy of integrating all grappling arts, finding it to be the most comprehensive and effective approach to the sport.

As a coach, Jesse strives to help students find their own creative solutions to the unique constraints of Jiu-Jitsu. His goal is to develop adaptable, efficient, and resilient practitioners who can perform with composure under pressure.
